Subject: Re: Need input on bottle feeding instructions

"if you have chosen to bottlefeed, you must understand that your baby is 5
times more likely to die in the first year of life, will not reach his/her
intelligence potential, and is at risk for these diseases... (list) ..."

I like this direct approach. I have lots of statistics listed on frequency
of diseases, etc. I have never seen the "5 times more likely to die" one
though. Is this true? Does the math work out? Most important, is there a
source for this? This is much more blunt than discussing the rates of
hospitalization, etc, etc. But I can't use the "5 times" unless I can back
it up, hopefully easily. When you get into dealing with statistics, the
math can end up very shaky if you're trying to combine studies.

Anyone? Thanks.
