Hi Ellen,
this is my gut (Pardon the pun ;-) ) feeling about this baby:
I am wondering if anyone has investigated this baby for allergies? Has
the
mother tried an elimination diet at all? You do not mention if anyone has
eliminated this as a cause of the food aversion...

Allergic babies also appear to have
'itchy palates' and may bunch up their tongue to relieve it.>>>

Yes, I have discussed allergies with mom, early on and again more
recently. Mom made some attempts during the early months to omit dairy,
but she is a vegetarian and found this quite hard. Hopefully she will
try again and will try other possible allergens. How interesting about
the itchy palate. Thank you for the response and I will let you know
what happens.
