The suggestion to discontinue prenatal vitamins with a fussy baby predates
by IBCLC so has to be at least 12 years old and from LLL sources.  It has
been a very productive suggestion!  If the mom has not had her hemoglobin
checked since delivery and  doesn't have an appt with her HCP I suggest WIC
(if appropriate) or her local public health office as inexspensive options
for having this done then discussing stopping her prenatal vits with her
HCP before doing so.
