Debbie:

  a) although freezing does not kill yeast heating does and it probably does
not have to get as high as scalding. check in your cook book on temp for
yeast for baking.

  b) I thinkthat if the immune system is intact than there will not be a
problem. the problem arrises with a compromised immune system or a system out
of balance. SO, if everyone is over the overgrowth and back to being in
balance the milk with increased yeast should not pose a problem.
