Don't leave anyone you care about alone in a hospital.  Ever.

Experience has shown you how hard you had to fight to keep your baby 
and breastfeed in that hospital.  Spare your friends that trouble and 
make sure they have a doula or family member or *somebody* with them at 
all times, to help protect the dyad.
