thanks so much for all your replies. I am intrigued and impressed as usual, by the wealth of information and caring.
I instigated this topic exactly for the reason of learning and possibly myself, reinstating the knowledge that it is not ideal.

I would never feel like I was being attacked, by being on the receiving end of each and everyone's strong feelings regarding this matter. I appreciate it so much that you have all taken the time to discuss this. It is just great!! It certainly has caused me to think twice and thrice -= and I will try to take the time to put together a good case to Na'amat.  For all I know, it seems that they don't care too much, because for some unknown reason, they never show up at the meetings!!
