When we moved to a new parish, I told the pastor that I might be nursing my nine month old
during the service if he needed it.    The pastor replied that he had spent some time in Central
America doing missionary work and all the women nursed their babies in church.   They stopped
nursing if the sermon went on too long.   Eileen
