Whenever this discussion comes up we should take the opportunity to highlight
the environmental friendliness of breastfeeding.  It is energy-economical.
Less grain needs to be fed to dairy animals in order to produce their milk
which then must be transported, processed, packaged, transported, mixed,
heated and fed to babies.  Less energy expended, less waste produced... 'BF is
an environmental act' was a slogan on buttons distributed at the summit on the
environment in Rio more than 10 years ago.
