Linda, I have read this post several times along with the responses from
other Lactnetters.  I do fine until the part where you publish a list of who
attends in an ad that thanks the Drs. and "recognizes them as breastfeeding
supporters." They are coming for information and a good meal and may not yet
be ready to "go on record" of being supportive.  Perhaps you could send a
follow-up letter asking permission to use their names in the ads. If all of
them say yes you have firmed up their support.

I wouldn't want to go to a M....a pump info meeting and have my name in an
ad supportive of the company.

I think of all of my years in local politics and I appreciate the fact that
noone uses my name as a supporter without my permission. Some doc may be
lurking on the edge, and seeing her name in print as a supporter might
alienate her.

We have to be very careful of a person's sense of Name.
