Hello All-
I read or heard recently that some of the manufacturers of hydrogel
dressings are putting info in their packages which says hydrogel should not
be for sore nipples because it leaves residues which should not be ingested
by the newborn during breastfeeding. I searched Lactnet archives for this,
to no avail. did I dream this? Our facility has recently started getting a
glycerin-based, breastfeeding-specific product, but we still have the old
hydrogel in our supply carts, and questions have come up. Can anyone help
with this, please?

PS--Please mail me privately, I cannot read all of Lactnet, unfortunately.
