I have a question from a colleague with a strong background in research, and I have searched the archives, but have been unable to find anything as specific as I'm looking for (and I don't really have the time to look in great detail).  I have also searched the HMBANA website and found their position paper.  

The question is in relation to whether or not our interest group should write a letter of support for the establishment of a milk bank in our province (for me it's just common sense, however I find it challenging to eloquently support this with research, something I am working on...).

Any thoughts on the following (I have permission to post to Lactnet)?

>> Since we know the interpretation of what is sound evidence is key in this discussion we need to be confident that the best evidence ie systematic reviews, Cochrane reviews and randomized controlled trials are informing our response.  What I also need to include is evidence from qualitative studies as well?  With the emphasis on evidence based practice, it is important that we are using the best evidence.  

What criteria have they used to inform their literature review? <<

Does anyone know the answer to this, or have any feedback?
