Just yesterday at a clinical update seminar on complex pediatric assessment;
 the topic was pulmonary, near the end of the session I took an opportunity
to introduce breastfeeding into the discussion by asking the speaker how
feeding method effects the occurrence and course of pulmonary disorders and
infections. Obviously, and unfortunately, breastfeeding issues had not been
part of her planned comments, but she responded well to the question. I was
happy to hear she had done her homework. Sometimes others can be guided into
doing our advocating for us.
