In my practice, I've had 32 weekers exclusively breastfeeding, and 39
weekers who could not transfer any milk. There is so much individuality
among preterm babies. An early start at the breast, respiratory
stability, and being allowed to set the pace of the feeding all seem to
be positive factors. I think every baby deserves a chance to show what
they can do. Some of those little peanuts will surprise you.
