This hit a chord with me tonight!
I went to see a patient today, to offer assisstance with pumping for a
premature baby.  Mom was borderline HELPP syndrome, C/S and just got off the
MgSO4 today.  Mother decided not to breastfeed because she has decided to
start a Medifast liquid diet TOMORROW!!!
Says she just cannot stand being so huge, and has used the liquid diet for
YEARS!  The breastfeeding was not even an option, her body shape was much
more of a priority.
I was nearly speechless, and that doesn't happen often.
