Judy:

   unfortunately we are not kidding....after moving to Chicago ( the north)
from Atlanta ( the south) I talked to an ob about the incidence of thrush I
was seeing that I did not expect in this colder dryer climate.....he
explained that due to hospital bred infections ALL mothers were given a bolus
of antinbiotics with delivery!
    this was confirmed for me by an lc in another area hospital...
