£6,300 breastfeeding leaflet 'is sent to wholly inappropriate employers'

FLORA Kennedy could hardly believe it when a glossy leaflet fluttered on to her desk. 
It seemed to be a promotion for cashmere jumpers. But it was an official leaflet about breastfeeding in the workplace. Which was odd for her business, as it employs 40 men making sheds. 

Kennedy, of Maxton, has ridiculed as a waste of money the decision by the Scottish Executive to send a leaflet on breastfeeding to all firms in the country. 

She said the Executive was sending the leaflet - which gives advice to employers on complying with the Breastfeeding etc (Scotland) Act 2005 - to more people than it needed to.
