I'm writing in response to Cheryl's post on the doctor who is recommending
scheduled feedings for all moms.  I would suggest getting a copy of Ann
Millard's article "The Place of the Clock in Pediatric Advice" -- it talks
about the history of the notion of scheduled feedings, and why pediatricians
feel the need to schedule moms.  I don't have the full reference at home,
but it was in one of the standard journals -- any university library search
should turn it up.  I'll try to post the full reference later today.
