Hale's M&MM 2002 mentions West Nile on pgs 734-5, that's in the milk,
transmission through milk unlikely, but no studies had been done. He lists
the CDC and the NYC Advisory notice web site at
www.ci.nyc.ny.us/html/ed/encalert.html

I did go to LaTrobe Univ Microbiology Dept at
http://www.latrobe.edu.au/microbiology/table2.html
They list West Nile among those affected by Lipid (unsaturated fatty acids
and monoglycerides), at least in vitro. Perhaps they will find that other
components are also active against West Nile.

Phyllis
I found this on Google by searching the words: latrobe milk
