Yes, I meant to say it directly, but just said it between the lines... I
sure wouldn't worry about MAP transmission if it is in the breastmilk. It
takes a very unhappy intestine for it to settle-in (and an intestine
unhappy with breastmilk, especially from a dairy-free/allergen-free mom,
isn't likely to be any happier with anything else). Nothing would protect a
baby more from it than the protective powers of breastmilk, and since the
bacterium is just as likely to live in any alternative to breastmilk,
there's sure no reason to question breastfeeding if one had Crohn's or
such, in fact it would be all the more reason.
