I have heard SIDS defined as "infant death for which no other explanation
can be found".  Of course, when it happens while breastfeeding, blame the
breastfeeding first unless some other explanation can be found (if it is
even looked for!).  It's the same old frustration we have all expressed in
one way or another:  When anything negative happens while breastfeeding, the
breastfeeding is, of course, at fault.  When something negative happens
while bottle/formula feeding, it is just a coincidence!
