I saw a client today whom I had recommended get a frenotomy. They did 
and said the dr. told them when he did it the baby would probably get 
thrush. And sure enough he had the whitest tongue I've seen in over 11 
years. But I have never heard this and it didn't make any sense to me 
why it would be so.

The mom was mostly Spanish speaking and the dad seems to speak pretty 
good English, some I'm wondering if something got lost in translation.

Anybody else ever heard of an association between frenotomy and thrush?
