I am wondering,are gist packs a uniquely American phenomenon?  I have had
two babies born in the US and both times I refused the gift pacts that were
thrust on me.

I had one baby born in Thailand, one in Norway and one in Hong Kong.   Never
got any gift packs in any of these places.

Just curoius.
