I have a mom who has a very round breast, fairly good tone, and a short but
not flat nipple. Nipple diameter is about 1 to 1.25 cm.  She has to pump
now due to BTWork, and she has gone from the standard flange (Medela) to
the 30mm and she is still having soreness at the base of the nipple plus
blanching after feeds.  This is with just one pumping per day, and soon she
will need to do at least 3 while at work.
  What would you all suggest.  I think the next size 36mm will be too
large--
