I am WAY behind on reading my e-mails, but I just had to pass along
something that happened a couple of weeks ago. I had a breastfeeding display
set up at a Maternity Fair at a local mall. 2 different mothers came up to
me with their 2 children. The older children of both mothers were thin and
sickly looking and the younger children of the 2 mothers were plump &
healthy looking. Both pointed to the older child and said that child was
bottle fed & pointed to the younger (healthier) child and said that child
was breastfed. Both said they were amazed at the difference in the health of
the 2 children. Neither mom knew the other and they came by my booth at 2
different times. What a difference! I wish I could use them in my classes,
because the difference was so obvious. It was just interesting to see these
children from the same parents turn out so different.
