Libby in El Paso described receiving a call from her local newspaper
regarding nutrient deficiencies in one year olds. Please fax me what you
received from the reporter and Ross. I am in the middle of writing up the US
National Report on the results of the Code Monitoring project here in the US
that NABA facilitated. I am still collecting examples of unethical marketing
practices and would love to see what was sent to the newspapers. Usually
these toddler formulas displace real food from the diet and provide another
niche product for formula companies. No real data exists on the necessity for
these expensive cans of oils and cows milk.
