In searching Medline for info on premies, I came across the abstract below.
Any thoughts? Has anyone read the article?

TITLE: Neonatal group B streptococcal disease associated with infected
breast milk.
AUTHORS: Olver WJ; Bond DW; Boswell TC; Watkin SL
AUTHOR AFFILIATION: Division of Microbiology and Public Health
Laboratory, University Hospital, Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham NG7 2UH,

CITATION IDS: PMID: 10873172 UI: 20332295
ABSTRACT: Premature triplets each developed late onset group B
streptococcal disease over a period of nine weeks. The source of the organism
appeared to be expressed maternal breast milk, in the absence of clinical
mastitis. Asymptomatic excretion of group B streptococcus in breast milk may
be an under-recognised cause of neonatal infection.
