how timely! in the supermarket just now I passed this headline in USA Today:

the print version, but not this online version, states twice that the
accidents happened while the car seat was NOT being used as a car seat but
as a CARRIER.

"At least 97 infants have suffered skull fractures, concussions, a broken
leg or other injuries in the Ev**flo Joyride."

"The problems with the Joyride don't affect its use as a car seat."
