Dear Friends:
        For some reason, the thread on instinctive versus learned activity
reminded me of a anecdote that I use, very sparingly, after a good rapport
with a mom, to increase understanding. Ask , " Was sex the first time the
most wonderful thing you had ever experienced?" Women roll their eyes, groan,
and say, "No." Then continue, "But you kept working at it didn't you?"  More
laughter and head-nodding. Even so with breastfeeding. It takes a while to
