The first thing I ask back-to-work moms with decreasing supply is whether
they are drinking enough fluids at work. The answer is usually no. If they
have been using their pump for a while (I've already inquired what type
they have) I suggest checking all the connections and especially with the
Medela pumps, the little round white flange. If it is cracked or not being
removed for cleaning, it should be replaced or cleaned well. I encourage
night feedings, co-sleeping, and lots of weekend feeding to increase the
supply on Monday. Linda
