"I saw a patient a few days ago who felt that her milk supply was getting
less. The
baby is a very fussy baby from birth, but the weight gain was good in the
beginning,
but has stopped. After a lot of questioning it turns out that she had an IUD
with
progesterone (Mirena it's called) put in three weeks ago, and this  is when
she started
noticing problems with her supply. Could maybe either of you write to
lactnet if they
know anything about progesterone containing IUDs and milk supply? I have
