Medela has a pressure gauge that any reputable pump rental station should
have. When I rented pumps, I checked the pressure on each pump before
sending it back out. Pumps have a life span, and the pressure can be a
prob. if a pump begins to malfunction. I've had moms who thought they had
supply probs when they really had a machine with a suction deficit. The
Pump-in-Style is sold as a single user item, however most people are aware
that they are widely shared. It's certainly been my exper. that after a
per. of hard use the pressure on those pumps begins to fail.
