Hello Linda,

I'm not looking at my Hale book at the moment its at work. However, since
Benadryl is a anti-histimine, and does not have any ephedrine in it. Make sure
she is taking the regular kind of benadry w/o additives. IN my opinion, it
should have not impact on her milk supply at all. Remember, just plain
benadryl is given for any allergic response even life threatening ones. The
only side affect is drowsiness. Its probably the safest antihistamine of them
all as far as milk supply is concerned. Sudafed on the other hand is not
recommended. I would tell her not to worry and have a wonderful birth and
expect lots of milk!

Best,
robin
