Eric Berne, PhD, psychologist once said that intuition is the human brain's
ability to make sound judgements based on subtle and incomplete evidence.  Dr.
Berne had his intution so honed that he regularly amazed people by telling
strangers what they did for a living and other facts about themselves.
        The thing I most appreciate about my kids' pedi is that he always
takes my observations seriously.
