Hi wise ones!

I've been a lurker for a couple years and gleaned alot of info! Thanks!

A quick intro ...I'm a DONA certified doula, a Lamaze prenatal educator
student and have taken the Douglas College (NewWestminster, BC, Canada)
Breastfeeding counsellor course. (I'm a mom of 4 as well)

Anyways .....my dh is a 4th year university student and is taking a human
biology course this semester. One of the assignments was to find a recent
news article about something human biology related. He found an article
from July 13th in the Vancouver Sun about the selling of breastmilk on the
web. The article contained information about the fact that the bm is not
only being bought for babies, but also for adults. My husband would like
to know if there has been any research or studies done on whether or not
human milk has benefits for adults as it does for babies. It's
strange ...but true! So ......does anyone know of anything they can
point me to? He needs actual research. I'd appreciate this!

Thanks very much ...and looking forward to responses. (I have checked the
archives and not been able to find what I'm looking for)
