Dear Marsha, The Bath interferes with bonding (separation, decreased odors
etc.), however in this day and age of AIDS most HCPs are eager to wash baby
so they can quit wearing gloves every time they need to handle baby -
universal precautions are in force until blood and body fluids washed off
