I just heard from a friend through email.  She contacted the newspaper running
the anti breastfeeding article and was told the story was a tongue in cheek
piece and Abner Eyewink is a psuedonim (spelling?) they use for a fictious
reporter when they want to run something tongue in cheek.

So, it's possible this isn't true.
