Today I made a home visit in my role as insurance  nurse. <...>    What
really upsets me is the overwhelming feeling  that there is nothing
they can or want to do to change anything. This is  their lives, they accept
it,
keep buying cigarettes, and staying  overweight.

What kept crossing my mind when reading this message from Nikki, was the
message about the baby of vegan aprents being taken away from his loving family.
I do not suggest this teen mom does not love her children, but how can it be
that a family that is very well informed, knowledgeable and responsible
towards  feeding their child is punished and that this teen mom and grandma can get
away  with their way, that is at least, to say it nice, not very  ...  well,
I can't find a nice English to describe this, right now.
