Wouldn't it be *interesting* to do a study comparing simple longevity of
those breastfed exclusively for a half year and continuing for another 2
years or more, with those never breastfed (or any categories in between).
And not break it down by cause of death. I've always wondered if there are
small infant feeding influences on things like suicide and risk-taking
(emotional well-being), highway death (vision and reflexes), addictive
behaviors like smoking, and who knows what else. Lump them all together and
do a simple "How long do we last?" study. Start now and we wouldn't have
the results for a century, but it sure would be interesting... And I'd be
*astounded* if it didn't override "stiff arteries".
