LOL! Difference in languages and culture. Posset is spit - what a bby brings
up after a feed. My apologies for not being clearer. OK, now that that is
clarified, anyone have any idea?

Has anyone come across this before in a baby in the first few months? The
baby is spitting up after some feeds but it is a coffee or caramel colour.
No
bleeding from the mothers nipples at all or cracking that could be causing
it. Nothing inside the baby's mouth. Everything looks perfectly normal in
the diaper/nappy. Another one of these slow weight gain babies. The spit is
not after every feed, is after a formula or a breastfeed (the mother is
giving 4-5 bottles per week and the rest of the time breastfeeding).
Sometimes small amounts, sometimes a significant amount.
