There is absolutely NO TRUTH to the rumor that Gerber is giving away savings
bonds. Somebody is trying to scam people out of some very sensitive
information (social security numbers, etc.). Also the U.S. Postal Service is
pulling out their hair cause they have to process and return the literally
thousands of letters that keep arriving every day. I just saw a report about
this on the local news here in Minneapolis where the P.O. Box is located.
Apparently this was a legitimate post office box at one time about some other
Gerber matter, but it has been closed for several years. This is just
someone's attempt to do something illegal with the info people are sending, or
at the very least to play a cruel joke on Gerber, the Postal Service, and
gullible citizens.
