I have never heard of drugs being tested for in the UK antenatally, 
routinely or otherwise, except in very unusual circumstances, where 
the mother is a known drug abuser, is already on social services' 
radar, and is being tested as part of a rehab/treatment  programme.

Antenatal care should not be a means of policing mothers for 
acceptable health behaviours.  There are other ways of ensuring the 
safety and well-being of her baby without this.

If I have it wrong about UK policy, I hope my UK colleagues will correct me.
