Dear Bob,

You did a fine job capturing some of Dave's great qualities in so few 
words and I completely agree with every one of them.

In the way I knew him, he was a wonderful person in every regard; a 
great mentor, a good friend, a man of high integrity and high ideals. A 
good guy in every in every sense of the phrase. I will miss our 
conversations, our occasional e-mails and his wonderful annual 
'solstice' cards which were always so thoughtful and thought provoking.

I am sure a little bit of his spirit lives inside all of the people he 
touched, the hundred's of thousands of people that enjoyed the exhibits 
he helped to create, and in us, who continue to do better work because 
of knowing him.  Moreover, he was just the best kind of person you could 
ever hope to know.
