ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers

Hi Jamie,

We built a cave one time out of that thick paper that's used under
roofing and comes in big rolls. Sorry I don't know what it's called,
but it's very inexpensive. We built a chicken wire frame, tore the
paper off the roll, crumpled it up, then opened it up again and taped
it to the chicken wire with duct tape. After spray painting it with
several different "rock" colors, it looked very realistic and was
really cheap.

Hope that helps.

Anna
