Well, I opened my mouth at our department meeting about the "Inconvenient Truth" discussion and now I've been tasked with exploring speakers for Earth Day / Astronomy Day this spring. It would dovetail nicely with this museum's location on the river and the HRM's growing ecological focus.

I suggested Dr. Hansen, but I was wondering if anyone here has heard him speak to a lay audience...?

(BTW, thanks to all who suggested ways to make outdoor-suitable sundials in public workshops -- we'll be doing that this winter, and we'll let you know how it goes.)
