Great- I can see that you have hit on something that has sparked a huge
amount of interest.
Deb and I were at the Maker Faire in CA a couple of years ago - it
really has a wonderful spirit that is much in keeping with what we all
are trying to do in the science museums.

>> I'd like to propose a session for ASTC 2012 about the DIY movement and Maker Faires related to science centers. We'll be hosting our first Mini-Maker Faire next year, in collaboration with the Columbus Idea Foundry. I'd like to talk to others who have hosted these or are doing DIY-related programming. Anyone interested in co-presenting and/or sharing their experiences around this topic?
