Has anyone had any experience using consumer-grade plasma globes in a public exhibit setting? I’d like to get a read on how robust they are, how long they last, how they have been used and operated, etc. We’re considering including one in an exhibit, and would like to know if the less expensive off-the-shelf models can work, or if more expensive custom-made units are really required. Recommedations on suppliers are welcome.

Thanks in advance.
