Eric -

Might not work in NY, but one of the best I've ever heard about (and it
really stuck in my imagination) was in Mexico for the Day of the Dead - and
it was a celebration of Theories that had died! So, little tombs to Flat
Earth, Earth at the Center of the Universe, etc. Think of what you could do
for Creationism!
It was inside and outside the museum and the public had been invited to
build their own shrines. I can't remember where this happened, possibly
Monterrey.
