We have began a Hip Grandparents series. In part this is to smooze the grandparent set for donations but we are also trying to also equip them with information on how to interact with their grandchildren while at the museum. We give them some science behind the exhibits so that when they come with their grandchildren they can be an active participant and not be intimidated.

never sure...)

 

I was wondering what different organizations are doing to cultivate the

grandparents audience.  I've seen grandparent membership categories, and

variations on discounts, but are there any other programs or promotions

that target grandparents?  Donate $XX to the annual fund and your

grandchildren's names go on a wall, special grandparent/grandchild

classes, grandparent bulk discount if you sign up all of your progeny

into a summer camp....  Things like that and more.
