The Self-Reliance Foundation seeks additional organizations to participate  
in upcoming Celebra la Ciencia science festivals:
 
Los Angeles, Sunday March 30, 12:30-5 pm, Cesar Chavez March and Cultural  
Festival, (Cesar Chavez Park, San Fernando Valley, attendance approximately  5000
 
Denver, Sunday, April 30, 12 noon - 5 pm, Dia de los Ninos  (held indoors at 
a large Catholic churchcommunity center in west central  Denver), attendance 
approximately 4000
 
Celebra la Ciencia is a project, originally funded by NSF & NIH, that  links 
Latino families with informal science opportunities through science  
festivals, family science nights, afterschool programs, and media.  CLC has  coalitions 
of informal science organizations in Washington, DC; Washington  State; 
Albuquerque, NM; Chicago, IL; and Los Angeles.  New coalitions are  developing in 
Denver, CO and Raleigh/Durham, NC.

portable exhibits to the events listed above or if you have an interest in the  
project.
