ISEN-ASTC-L is a service of the Association of Science-Technology Centers
Incorporated, a worldwide network of science museums and related institutions.

Perhaps I am among the damaging ignorant but I have been thinking about this issue recently. I'm curious what is so wrong with Dawkins' question. I would really appreciate the community's thoughts on this, as I've been struggling with this issue in my own outreach efforts.

For me growing up, science centers were always a place of wonder and amazement. I'm sure I learned something and I certainly was influenced to go into science by those experiences.

However, I'm less certain what effect science centers have on people with different learning styles and backgrounds. I would appreciate thoughts on this, or being pointed towards any literature on the subject.

Thanks
